Emmerdale’s Kim delivers harsh truths to Dawn in ITVX episode

Emmerdale spoilers follow from Monday’s episode (March 31), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.

Emmerdale‘s Kim Tate gets tough with Dawn Fletcher in Monday’s episode, as she desperately tries to fix her stepdaughter’s marriage.

Kim is on hand to issue a few home truths as Dawn gives her husband Billy a hard time over his recent mistakes.

Dawn was left heartbroken last week as her secret lover Joe Tate packed his bags to leave Home Farm without any explanation.

She struggled to understand the sudden rejection, although Emmerdale viewers know that Joe was entirely focused on making his escape after plotting to steal Caleb Miligan’s kidney.

In Monday’s episode, Dawn continues to struggle and she takes her upset out on Billy.

When asked what the issue is, Dawn covers the truth by reminding Billy about his recent habit of “sending dodgy messages to random women online”.

Kim is stunned to walk in on the argument as she witnesses Dawn branding Billy “a pervert”.

Emmerdale recently revealed that Billy had started anonymously sexting Manpreet Sharma via her Only Fans-style online account, which has since been shut down.

Billy confessed to Dawn but left out the crucial detail that the other woman was Manpreet.

Unable to resist having her say, Kim points out the obvious to Dawn once they’re alone – she’s been up to worse recently.

Kim asks: “Is it fair to take things out on Billy? It’s not like he seduced you into falling in love with him, then dumped you as soon as he’d had his fun.”

Giving a pointed suggestion, she adds: “Maybe if you stopped projecting your guilt onto Billy and started concentrating on rebuilding your marriage?”

Is Dawn willing to work on her marriage to Billy, who’s genuinely keen to fix things? Fans can see how the story unfolds in full when the episode airs at 7.30pm on ITV1 tonight, or right now on ITVX.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
